Smile even if you want to cry and then audition like you have no insecurities.

My Father used to tell me if I wanted to be happy and make friends all I needed to do was smile.  Although it is not always the case in most instances a smile can turn your day around.  I rarely give a smile and am given a grim look in return maybe it's because I have nice teeth or maybe people find it hard to pass up kindness.  I can't help but smile at those who smile at me it would be like ignoring a beautiful painting or looking away from a mother cuddling her new baby it's just something I love to see and give.  Today as I take my evening walk I will make a conscious effort to smile at 10 people.  You should try this too it helps when I am feeling insecure about my looks to make me realize I have the power to give a small amount of beauty to this world.

On another note my second interview with MCarty talent agency is Saturday I will make sure to break out this award winning smile for them to enjoy.  I will be doing a cold read for this audition.  A cold read is when you are given a script to look over for a couple of minutes and then read through with whoever is holding the audition.   Usually a person will slate which means they say their full name and who they are represented by and then look down taking a few seconds to get into character. Upon looking up you are the character that you are reading for and should not break character even if you stumble on a few lines.
